Roseate Spoonbills by Ann Hoffpauir

                                                    Roseate Spoonbills

The Roseate Spoonbill is a very colorful bird.  Their unusual bill gives it its name.  They use their bill to scoop or spoon up small fish and whatever else they can catch.  These spoonbills were painted from photos taken while staying in Rockport, Texas.

This area in Texas is a migratory gateway for several species of birds.  It’s a wonderful area for bird, wildlife artists and photographers.

These spoonbills are painted on 140lb. watercolor paper.  The size is 5x71/2.

The price is $75.00.  Thank you for viewing my art.
